I still dont understand why someoe making millions of dollars wouldnt just call a cab.
I also gays and lesbians need to grow thicker skin. They dont help their cause by trying to grab the spotlight all the time.

Actually AP, I think the McDowell incident was brought to light by the married couple who were present with their children when McDowell was engaged in his rant. According to reports I've read, McDowell threatened to knock the guys teeth out with a bat.

AP, it's not even clear there were gay people involved. McDowell saw three guys sitting together in the stands and started taunting them. When the guy with his kids at the game protested, McDowell threatened to bash in his teeth.

Whatever McDowell get will not be enough. His actions and words are no acceptible.
The altercation at AT&T Park in San Francisco took place last Saturday during pregame batting practice. Justin Quinn was in the stands with his wife and 9-year-old twin daughters when he noticed McDowell hectoring three men and asking them, “Are you guys a homo couple or a threesome?��
After the coach made crude sexual gestures with his hips and a bat, Quinn said he shouted, “Hey there are kids out here.�� According to Quinn, McDowell said kids don’t belong at a baseball park, picked up a bat, walked up to Quinn and asked him, “How much are your teeth worth?��
Quinn said he felt threatened and was unsure whether McDowell intended to hit him.
I was speaking about this part of the situation:
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation called on the Braves and Major League Baseball to take “real disciplinary action and send the message that anti-gay slurs have no place in sports.��

looking back on my years in public school, it was not uncommon to throw the word faggot, often synonymous with 'wussy'.
sounds like mcdowell got in touch with his inner 12 year old.
