This is at least the the second time this week that Artie blew one and I thought the really decent thing to do would be to let it slide, only to have Max and now fors jump on it like a first round draft choice and a bag of coke.

I saw an article or online debate somewhere recently about true 5 tool players.  I don't think I injected myself into it but I recall thinking that the 1964 Cardinals had two of the all time greatest (5 tool players) at 1st and 3d.  I don't think either Boyer or Bill White was mentioned in the discussion.

I don't think Feliz's intensity is going to remind anyone of Pete Rose, but I don't recall any specific incidents that have offended anyone.
Your observations are otherwise spot on. If I were prone to hyperbole, I might say that after watching Lopez play third base Feliz was like putting a Band-Aid on your neck after you've been decapitated.

For that matter, what grown man says "poopy?"  Obviously the paper wouldn't have printed it if he had said "shitty," but I'd much rather have a quote attributed to me contain an [expletive deleted] reference than have anyone think I actually used the word "poopy" on purpose.

It is alot better to use that word then to walk into the living room and say "god damn, who shit their fucking pants".
