    Cardinals Reacquire Jess Todd

    Per Rotoworld, the Cardinals claimed Jess Todd off waivers.  Todd was the other player in the Mark DeRosa/Chris Perez trade.  Todd had been DFA'd earlier this season and was claimed by the Yankees who subsequently DFA'd him.

    One of the "fabrege eggs" returns to the nest.

    Interesting.  Now let's sit back and watch how the powerbrokers in the NLC respond to this move.

    Wonder if the Indians will trade Todd for Perez, straight up?
