Dan Haren Thread

It seems to me that we ought have one thread for our ongoing discussion of Dan Haren.

Just joking.  I agree the trade is history but I can't help but follow his career.  It looked to me like he was having arm trouble and I had begun to think that he had just about reached the same point where Mulder was when we acquired him.  But Haren's now on track to get his 34th start this year, which will give him 6 consecutive seasons with 33 or more starts.  He's also only given up 6 earned runs in his last 41 innings pitched.

Isn't the American League supposed to harder on the pitchers?  Although he had some rough starts when he first joined the Angels, it is beginning to look like he's as good as ever, if not better.  It's amazing how big a difference it can make when a player gets away from a really bad team, like the DBacks.

Re: Dan Haren Thread

He has a 2.85 era with the Angels and a 4.60 with the DBacks.  His recorded hasnt improved so I am guessing he is getting about the same kind of run support.

Reynolds is the second coming of Scott Rolen compared to Felipe Lopez.
