How many times do you see it, folks? A guy makes a really bad play in the field and then follows it up in the next half inning by waving at a waist-high hanging curve for strike three?

They really need to stop showing dugout shots of Greene. We get it. He feels bad. But that was completely unacceptable for a player who wants to stay in the big leagues.

Have you ever seen "North Dallas Forty?" There's a scene where the team is in the middle of a film session from the most recent game and the coach is showing over and over a play of an offensive lineman named Stallings looking really bad getting beaten for a sack that almost gets his quarterback killed.
The rest of the team is howling with laughter and back-slapping Stallings, who manages a sheepish grin, until the film session breaks up and the coach says something like "OK. Let's hit the weights. Except you, Stallings. Go get your playbook and see me in my office."
