Westbrook in the ninth, please.

Royals' announcer just said there's "a mixture of red and blue" in the stands today. I'd say it's about 70/30. Red.

Who are the "Ubs?"
Byrd got hit by a pitch in the face a couple of innings ago and immediately left the field. Even though he plays for the Ubs, you hate to see that. And Byrd seems a decent fellow.

That was a big win. The TTIB lost 2-1 to the Tribe.

On a two-run bomb by Travis Buck, of all people.

Travis Buck? I figured he was in Triple-A somewhere.

I was busy trying to watch the Cubs play the Red Sox. The Cubs manager was screaming about hitting batters and Zambrano had his dick in his hand more then the baseball. I had to stop watching. Everyone did look cool in the throwback jerseys.

I had a friend who went to the game last night ask me this morning "Are Cubs' fans always that annoying?"

They're different animals, AP. Red Sox fans are annoying because they take losses as personal insults - "How could they do this to ME!?!" - but you can have a conversation with most of them. At least you can with anyone who rooted for the team before 2004. I'd wager the vast majority of the people who show up to Wrigley Field on any given day couldn't name the starting infield for any team but the Cubs.

Most Cubs fans I know cant even name there roster right now. I think they have finally become disinterested in pretending to be interested.
