It's a good thing my DVR caught up when it did. I'm not sure if it's a U-verse thing or if it's the entire St. Louis area, but my guide shows the local news starting at 9:30. Apparently someone thought Carp was going to finish this in about 2 hours.

In September, I was pretty lukewarm on Dotel being back in 2012, but now I think they have to. I don't think he's in danger of losing his effectiveness ala Franklin.

I'd be fine with that. $3.5 million is a lot for Dotel, but he's still a very good reliever and they need dependable arms.

I also read somewhere that Rhodes gets a ring regardless since he played for Texas most of the season.
