Hallelujah, Holliday can lay off the low stuff.

Re: World Series, Game 2

It is funny that the Cardinals have the worst record, didnt have home field in the NLDS or NLCS but have it in the WS.

Re: World Series, Game 2

I think La Russa has erred in pulling Freese so quickly. Not a good move.

Re: World Series, Game 2

I don't like removing Freese before the 8th with a one run lead.

Re: World Series, Game 2

I know Tony feels comfortable with Descalso's glove, but I really wish this was Freese coming to the plate. Maybe we can get the Descalso from April/May.

He get a bum wrap as a bad defender.  He has his moments but for the most part makes the plays he should.

Can you imagine how Texas fans would have felt if Freese had come up in that spot?  They must be wondering what the hell La Russa was thinking and thanking their lucky stars.

Re: World Series, Game 2

Does the no-doubles defense ever work? Fuck, the Rangers are going to score here.

I doubt they even get it.  Washington doesnt.  He used 4 guys to fill one spot.  It is proof that anyone can manage in the AL.

It isn't Jay's fault Pujols missed the ball.

Re: World Series, Game 2

Is it the first basemans job to cut that off.  Seems odd for Pujols to be the one in position at that point.

This is where Josh Hamilton makes me look like an idiot for calling him an automatic out.

Yes, Pujols did mess that up. Though, if Jay was throwing home, that was a shit throw. Absolute shit.

Yes, it's the first baseman's responsibility.
