Hey, Tebow completed almost half his passes, so I guess it was a good game by his standards.
The post-game communal prayer meeting at midfield is standard these days. It just doesn't get shown on TV unless one of the players thinks he's one of the disciples.

I dont really know the bible and I dont attend mass like I should.  However when I see acts like this I like to take what I do know and apply it.

What bugs me is when people boast about being holly.  When they do that they are really just bragging about himselfs and it has nothing to do with religion.  One more quote and then I quit.

I don't care if Tebow or anyone else runs around carrying a cross in one hand a football in the other.
What bothers me is hypocrisy. Tebow for all I know may be genuine about his faith, but there have been enough Jim Bakkers and Jimmy Swaggerts in my lifetime to make me think people who pound the bible are trying deafen others.
People are willing to forgive people for being human. But people aren't as willing to forgive hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy is one thing I cant stand in people and it was my point as well.  The bible tells you not to make a show of your faith.  Reasons like you have stated is what made me shy away from church.  The more active in church you are the more of a uptight prick you can be.  I guess throwing a $20 in the collection plate makes it okay to be a piece of shit in real life.  Tebow can keep taking a knee and bragging about never have gotten laid.  To most it means ever little.

I took for granted what church went to me and the good it did.  We had a really good priest that I still believed is a very upstanding person.  Then he left and we got a fat, sticky fingured, preverted, slob.  He did things that made it impossible to take him serious.  There was alot of talk about him stealing and sex issues (not little boys, just gayness and renting porn).  One night he used mass as a platform to bitch about the members complaints.  It was then I came to understand what a joke the Catholic church was.  The sex stuff was always troubling but it seemed like a problem that didnt apply to our area.  This priest really turne me on the idea of listening o another man preach to me.  My family is catholic and I believe it would be frowned upon for me to go to another church but I often wondered what it would be like to listen an talk about faith then be preached to.  Currently I find that reflecting on decisions and talking about it with trusted friends is more usefull then church.

I was rooting for Tebow.  My fetish for shity QBs is overwhelming.

No comments after Tebow & the Bronco defense won yet again yesterday?  The Today Show just called Tebow "God's quarterback".  Even my husband is actually showing interest in the Broncos!  We turn it on & wait until the 4th quarter to really watch  (grin)
