    One of my new favorite things is watching Carlos Beltran hit home runs. He's so thoroughly unmoved by his majesty.

    Curious decision to go with the worst shortstop-second base combo you could realistically put together with a ground ball pitcher on the mound.

    Cement-head signed with the Padres, which would make him teammates with Jeff Suppan.

    Randy Keisler, Randy Flores, Tyler Johnson, Braden Looper, Brian Falkenborg, Kelvin Jimenez, Brad Thompson, Josh Kinney, Kelly Stinnett and Preston Wilson are all waiting for their phone calls.

    Re: Wells, it said "Reports from earlier this spring indicate that his fastball is still running as high as 93 mph". Obviously "mph" was supposed to read "inches". Don't they proofread anymore?
