Re: 5/8 GC

One of my new favorite things is watching Carlos Beltran hit home runs. He's so thoroughly unmoved by his majesty.

Re: 5/8 GC

Ugh. Craig tagged that so hard I thought it would go through.

Re: 5/8 GC

Curious decision to go with the worst shortstop-second base combo you could realistically put together with a ground ball pitcher on the mound.

I thought you meant of the season. And I was confused why you wrote this. Now I understand.

Theriot-esque by Descalso.

Re: 5/8 GC

Cement-head signed with the Padres, which would make him teammates with Jeff Suppan.

Randy Keisler, Randy Flores, Tyler Johnson, Braden Looper, Brian Falkenborg, Kelvin Jimenez, Brad Thompson, Josh Kinney, Kelly Stinnett and Preston Wilson are all waiting for their phone calls.

Re: 5/8 GC

I hope Beltran gets an AB this inning. Has a guy ever made a plate appearance before the ball he hit in his previous AB has landed?

Rally-killing grand slam, IMO.

Re: Wells, it said "Reports from earlier this spring indicate that his fastball is still running as high as 93 mph". Obviously "mph" was supposed to read "inches". Don't they proofread anymore?

He's a terrific pitcher until he has to face someone with a bat.

Re: 5/8 GC

Beltran stays healthy, he will be the best $8 investment in our fantasy league.
