The "Messin' With Sasquatch" story line has kind of run of new ideas.

Maybe in the next commercial they can have the "6 is a serious number" guy sneak up and put a pair of headphones on a sleeping Sasquatch. It then wakes up, smashes the 2 d-bags with a rock before being shot and killed by a wayward hunter. Both commercials come to an end.

Throw the "Cheap, cheap; fun, fun" chicken onto the kill list and you might be on to something.

Nothing to do with the game, but I hate Yom Kippur. It's been only four hours since sundown here and my wife is already looking at the cat like she could swallow it whole.

One of the attorneys I work with married the daughter of one of the original owners of Dirt Cheap. She used to dress as the chicken.

Her dad had a falling out with his business partner. The other guy got to keep the Dirt Cheap name, and he opened "Fred's Cheap-o Depot."

Geez, Edny Chavez, Ollie Perez and Carlos Beltran from the '06 Mets all in the same place. Makes you wonder what Tyler Johnson is up to these days.

I would have thought more of the people of St. Louis than they could sustain two job lot franchises.

I'll admit I've never fully understood the balk rules, but I have no idea how at Perez got by without balking in that at bat.

It would be hard to eat the sandwich after she punches me in the mouth and knocks out all my teeth.
By 5 p.m. tomorrow, my wife will look like one of the zombies from Dawn of the Dead. And I'm equally at risk of having her take a bite out of my flesh.

I didn't see all of the game, but Seattle lost at least 3 base runners and gave the Cardinals both runs. That's just terrible, terrible baseball by Seattle.

With special mention to Oliver Perez. Nothing like bringing in your lefty specialist and watching him walk back-to-back lefties.

They also burned a really good start by Yoko Ono.
I can't remember the last time I saw two runners get caught stealing in the same inning.

I guess the scouting reports don't make it that far northwest. Both runners were out by 5 feet.
