Two unnecessary runs.

I can't believe Bradley wasn't killed by that line drive that hit him in the head last month. And how do you get back on the mound after that?

I have a feeling the TV announcers of whichever team Grichuk is playing for five years from now are still going to be talking about why he has never become an everyday player.

How many pitches has Garcia bounced in front of the plate so far?

You counting the one he just bounced to second base?

Wong didn't know how many outs there were when he tagged out Inciarte. He's not very smart, is he?

Instead of calculating Heyward's batting average, the official scorer should keep count of how many outs he makes per at bat.

Interesting strike zone tonight. The plate has corners until the count gets to two strikes, and then the plate doesn't have corners anymore.

Some really good stuff from Garcia in the fifth inning there.

If the Cardinals want to win this series, they'd better hang on tonight, because Collmenter will throw an 11-hit shutout tomorrow.

Kozma has one hit since May 8.

The way he's pronouncing it, I think Hrabosky thinks the word ligament is spelled "leggamint."

... and he somehow gets six outs from Matt Bellemeyer.

So Chip Hale is a University of Arizona guy, and Tuffy Gosewisch is an ASU guy. This could be the first time a Wildcat has been in a supervisory role of a Sun Devil. Usually, they pump our gas.

He's going to try to get NINE outs out of Bellemeyer???

I didnt get to watch alot of tonights game but garcia looks to have gave them a decent outing.

How does Trumbo swing at a 3-0 pitch with his team down by two runs and Goldschmidt on deck??

Horrible fielding. Just lazy. Stay in front of it like any little leaguer would

I don't understand what happened to Heyward.

It could have been a lot worse, AP. He didn't really settle down until the fifth inning. His command was spotty, and there must have been a dozen pitches that missed the strike zone by a mile.
That being said, the Diamonbacks can hit, and the Cardinals made a couple of errors (one of which should have been his, but I think ended up being charged to Reynolds). He kept his composure for the most part. At least I didn't see him doing that dance he used to do when things didn't go his way.

And Belisle fucked up walking Goldschmidt. Someone should tell him this isn't basketball and there is no 3-pointer.

Oh, and Adams left the game trying to leg out a double. He grabbed his right hip rounding first base. Hrabosky said is isn't serious, but when have the Cardinals ever admitted to a catastrophic injury right away? Wasn't Wainwight's torn Achilles initally passed off as an "ankle problem?"

Yeah, a walk might as well be a home run in that situation. I'm inclined to cut Bellemeyer a little slack, though. He never should have been out there for a third inning.

Nah, it's pretty serious. Matheny seemed concerned during the post game. Luckily for the Cardinals Adams is terrible. No big loss.
