I looked on the Reds' website and found out there's a concert after the game with some person named Florida. Which until three minutes ago I thought was the state directly to the south of Georgia.

You guys have Bob's Discount Furniture stores in Missouri and Illinois? I thought they were a New England chain. We bought bedding there, and got a pretty good deal, but I'd never buy any of their furniture. Zach was about 10 when we went there. He pointed to an item on the sales floor and asked me what it was. "I believe that's a wooden giraffe, pal."

I haven't checked the standings in a while, but based on Iglesias' reaction, I'm going to assume the Reds just clinched the Central.

The ways these guys celebrate (except of course for Votto) makes me wonder how long it would take Paul Brown to suffer a stroke if he tried to coach (or manage) today.  I don't know if they still tell the story about the time he had a young running back score a touchdown and go into something of a celebration (whatever the rules permitted at the time).  When the back got to the sidelines Brown reportedly walked over to him and said, "Son, the next time that happens, try to act like you've been there before."
